About Us

The First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania (FCFP) was established in Williamsport, PA on November 20, 1916 and is the 9th oldest community foundation in the country (the 1st in Pennsylvania).

For a century the Foundation has been supporting nonprofits through grants in the areas of health and human service; arts and culture; civic, recreational, and educational initiatives designed to strengthen neighborhoods.

In 2016, FCFP raised $3.5 million and awarded $5 million in grants and scholarships. While FCFP’s work began in Williamsport, over time FCFP has grown into a regional foundation that annually touches residents in varying degrees across at least 10 counties in North Central Pennsylvania.  Learn more.
